Clifton Height Fire Accident.

The citizens of Braamfontein in Johannesburg were shocked when Clifton Heights was at blaze. The fire started at the seventh floor in the afternoon around 15:00(C.A.T.).

     The people who reside at SouthPoint and the nearby buildings were astonished to see the building on fire. The fire started on the seventh floor and spread to the eighth and ninth. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and damage yet to be estimated.

The residents gathered to see the building ablaze while Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (J.M.P.D.) ordered people and motorists not to come close to the building on fire. The fire fighters arrived 25 minutes after the fire started.

The nearby road, De Korte street was temporarily affected and motorists were advised to use alternative roads.The fire fighters managed to put off the fire within thirty minutes.

 The J.M.P.D. confirmed that there was no injured person(s).
