'THE LIMIT OF LIFE': People in my community.

"I have seen an end of all perfection: but Your commandment is exceeding broad" - Psalm 119:96
.
It takes a higher level of understanding to know that life and our existence in it is short or time bound and to prepare for the life hereafter. But only few know this truth.
.
God created man, though he was meant to live forever but sin thwarted his longevity. Your life here on earth is limited, so why pursue the things that has no eternal impact?
.
Everything in life that you can see, feel or touch has their limit. Your breathe, money, cars, pleasure and other things are limited that you can enjoy (temporal). But due to the lack of understanding, many are chasing the shadows of life. This is why the Preacher said everything is vanity (Eccl. 1:2).
.
What must I do seeing that life is temporal? You must seek to obey His commandments that last forever (Ps. 119:96). You must set your affection on things that are above and not beneath (Col. 3:2). You must not love the world neither all that is in it because they're limited in nature (1 John 2:15-17). You must lay up your treasure in heaven where moth or thieves cannot break in (Matt. 6:20).
.
Our stay on earth is limited, this is why there's a day people exit this world. Will you exit to eternal life or eternal destruction? Your understanding of your temporal stay on earth should make you to know that you're not permanent resident here (1 Pet. 2:11).
.
Why seek that which is temporal to destroy that which is eternal? There's no amount of bliss, successes, prosperity, fame or good health that you can enjoy on earth that is forever, a day will come when there's going to be an end to them.
.
Dearly beloved, what is your disposition to life? Do you see life as everlasting or temporary? What are you prepared for - eternal destruction or bliss?
.
Change your perception about life today for there is an end to all perfection in life. Only God's commandments that you abide in will guarantee you access to living forever even in the life hereafter.
