'WHAT DO YOU HOPE IN?'

"I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope" - Psalm 130:7
.
There are many people who look forward to having a better tomorrow (future). Some put their expectations in the future while some put theirs in the situation they expected to be good.
.
Meanwhile, hope is needed to forge ahead in life. What do you put your hope in? That you expected something good to happen in the future doesn't necessarily mean it would happen, this is not being pessimistic but channeling your hope to the right place.
.
The hope that will not fail is the one that is hinged on the word of God - this is the foundation of faith (Heb. 11:1). God places much regard in His word more than in His name (Psalm 138:2). Hence, if you hope in His word, He won't disappoint you if you patiently wait on Him.
.
We sometimes put our hopes in situations, persons or in the alternative plans we have. This is why hope deferred sometimes makes the soul weary (Prov. 13:12a).
.
Are you expecting something good to happen in the future even when you don't know how possible it would be? Wait on the Lord and put your hope in His word.
.
Remember, God is not a man that He should lie, everything written in His word He's capable of fulfilling them if you would take Him at His word and hope in them.
.
He may tarry but when you patiently wait on Him, He will surely bring it to pass. If He can fulfill His word in the lives of the patriarch of faith, He will do same in your life.
.
Don't fret or give up, put your hope in the Lord (in His word). Boldly declare it till it shapen your situation.
