'WHEN THE SOUL FAINTS'

"My soul faints for Your salvation: but I hope in Your word" - Psalm 119:81
.
There's always a tendency for one's soul to lose courage when it expects salvation (deliverance, victory, breakthrough) in life but it seems not to appear. Everyone of us would experience such but are we going to lose hope totally?
.
What kind of salvation are you expecting from God? The tendency for your soul to faint is great when you put your hope in that situation rather than in God or His word.
.
Many tends to faint in life because their soul is not hinged on the right anchor. Meanwhile if you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small (Prov. 24:10).
.
The only solution to prevent the fainting of your soul is to put your hope in His word. Man will disappoint you, that situation may not turn out to become what you expect but God's word will never let you down.
.
God's word has the capacity to give you courage or strengthen you whenever you find yourself in any situation, provided you put your hope in it.
.
Do not forget that God honors His word more than His name (Psalm 138:2). Don't lose heart on that matter that seem insurmountable. Do not allow hope deferred to make your soul grow weary.
.
Dearly beloved! Don't put your eggs in the basket of the situation but store them firmly in His word. God's word has the capacity to heal, deliver, save or perform any wonder you want.
.
It has the capacity to build up your faith in the midst of a hopeless situation when you hear it (Rom. 10:17) instead of listening to the voice of defeat or discouragement.
.
My brother and sister, I know you're beginning to lose hope in the salvation of God over that marital delay, joblessness, health challenges, family issues or what have you. Don't give up on God but put your hope in His word.
.
Find the right word (promise) that addresses your present need and remind Him of that word over your situation. Instead of giving up, take Him at His word (Luke 1:38).
