'REMOVE YOURS FIRST!'

"And why behold the mote that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eyes?" - Luke 6:41
.
It is easier to scold a person for what they did wrong when you know that you have some lapses in your life. Many are pretenders who claim to live a blameless life yet they are entangled with a bad habit or lifestyle.
.
Some people are quick to throw blames on others for what they did wrong while they are to be blamed for what they are doing that is wrong.
.
Just like the case of the adulterous woman and her accusers. Jesus told them that he that is without sin should first cast the stone. This also implies that he that doesn't have a beam in his eyes should attempt to judge her.
.
Isn't it better to remove the beam in your eyes before you remove the mote in your brother's eye? This draws us to living a perfect life.
.
Jesus ensured that He was not guilty of anything He scolded the Pharisees for. This is why He told us to be perfect as God in heaven is (Matt. 5:48). It is until you have lived a blameless life that you should make attempt to remove the mote in your brother's eye.
.
Let's examine ourselves brethren, which beam is in your eye? Are you indulging in secret sin, bad habit or you're living a double lifestyle?
.
Are people seeing you as single but you're engaged to someone secretly? Are you a saint but secretly a sinner? Are you engaged or married but having an affair?
.
Now is the time to repent and ask God to help you remove the ones in your eyes before you make an attempt to remove other's own.
.
God detest being a hypocrite. Remove the beam in your eyes first lest it prevents your from gaining entry in the kingdom of God.
