STAINS & SIN: People in my community.

This is a personal experience I had this weekend as I was about to launder my clothes.
.
Shortly after the long rain we experienced recently in Lagos, a three cutter knicker I had was carelessly kept in a place and it was badly stained. I felt the stain won't be removable because it was glaring and it discolored the white knicker.
.
I soaked it in detergent overnight and when it was time to wash it the following morning, I didn't find the stain anymore. It was completely cleaned and it looked like the other part of the fabric that wasn't stained.
.
>>Morals of the story<<
.
As I continued to wash, the Holy Spirit ministered to me about the stain in relation to sin that we often commit.
.
1. There's no other 'sin removing means' that can help you wipe off the stains of sin in your heart other than the Blood of Jesus. Confession to a priest or sacrificing animals to make atonement can't help you.
.
2. Unconfessed sin before God is like a stain that cannot be removed unless you confess it, make mention of it and ask for His forgiveness, while believing you have been forgiven.
.
3. Apart from sin, bitterness and unforgiveness also stains your heart because it leaves a scar therein.
.
4. The devil thrives and haunts you when you don't confess your sins before God (Rev. 12:10) when you refuse to ask for cleansing through the blood of Jesus.
.
5. Sin separates you from God (Isaiah 59:1) and makes your heart stained with its filth unless you confess and forsake them.
.
6. Guard your heart with all diligence (Prov. 4:23) so that what goes into it or comes out of it won't cause you to sin. A heart carelessly left unguarded will be prone to sin.
