'HATE FALSEHOOD'

"I hate and abhor lying: but Your law do I love" - Psalm 119:163
.
Right from the beginning of the world, there’s a widespread of falsehood which the father of it has made man to believe and consider to be true.
.
Both the truth and its opposite has consequences: one is bitter but beneficial while the other is sweet but destructive. Do I hate and abhor lying?
.
Many don't hate lying because the devil or the society they live in has made it appear good to them (Gen. 3:6). The truth can only be found in His word, whereas lies and its accomplice are in the world.
.
You can't hate lies when you don't know the truth (John 8:32). You will abhor lies when the god of this world has blinded your eyes lest you believe (2 Cor. 4:4). When you listen to the voice of the flesh, the devil or men, you'll embrace lies.

.
You can't hate or abhor lies when you do the lust of the devil (John 8:44). He has no truth and he speaks lie. Everyone whom he governs in the world also tell lies.

.
You need to be wiser than the devil or be deaf to his word because he also alters the truth and make it appear 'nice'. Any alteration of the truth is falsehood.

.
Why should you hate lies? If you embrace it, it'll lead you to destruction (John 8:51). If you live in it, eternal life isn't secured (Rev. 21:8; 27). When the truth isn't told, more lies would be said to cover it.

The outcome of your life when weighed on the balance of His word would indicate whether you have loved lies or accepted truths. Lies destroys, no matter how colorful or acceptable it may appear but the truth, though it's bitter, yet it's safer and rewarding.

The level of your hatred and abhorrence for falsehood is an indication of your love for the truth.
Beloved, buy the truth in all your decision and choices in life so that you won't end in destruction.
