'LOVE WITH A PURE HEART'

"Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned" - 1 Timothy 1:5
.
Although Paul was writing to the believers in Ephesus, yet this message does apply to us as believers. Do you love with a pure heart? Who are you expected to love?
.
You're expected to love God first and then your neighbors (Luke 10:27). Do you love God with a pure heart? A heart is pure when it's from sin or impure motives.
.
Sin must be eliminated from your heart if your love for God will be accepted. Sin mustn't be present in your thoughts, deeds or word if your love for God will be pure. Do you also love Him because of the meat (miracles) is able to provide for you?
.
If you'd love God with your strength and might, you mustn't be lazy. Refusing to expend one's energies for God when one isn't truly fatigued is laziness.
.
And to love your neighbor with a pure heart, there must be no condition for loving them. Your love to your neighbor mustn't be conditioned to their physical appearance, what they can or will do for you, what they have done or to lust at a particular thing in their life.
.
Loving your neighbor with a pure heart is free from immoralities, favoritism or certain motives that you have created for yourself.
.
Can I love with a pure heart - God and my neighbor? Yes! If it wasn't possible, He wouldn't have instructed you to love Him with ALL your heart, soul, strength and might (Luke 10:27). And it's only God that can give you a heart that loves Him (Jer. 32:39-40).
.
Why don't you ask for such heart today?
