'WAR A GOOD WARFARE'

"This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went on before you, that you by them might war a good warfare" - 1 Timothy 1:18
.
Which prophecies has been said concerning your life? Is it good or bad? Would you fold your hands or do something about it? To war a good warfare entails that you know your enemies and how to fight them.
.
There's a good warfare and there's a bad one. A bad warfare is fighting with people instead of facing principalities and powers. A bad warfare is dealing with people as your enemies instead of facing the real enemy inside of them.
.
Paul said, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers" (Eph. 6:12). A good warfare is to know your enemy and the right weapons to fight them.
.
Saul and the armies of Israel couldn't fight a good warfare, this is why their enemies remained unchallenged for 40 days. But when David came, he knew the right weapon and he used it effectively (1 Sam. 17:16, 38-45).
.
Those who do not have the mindset of fighting in life can never overcome the battles that would come their way. Your perception about life determines your approach and result (victory or defeat).
.
Paul fought (2 Tim. 4:7), he also told Timothy to fight (1 Tim. 1:18). It remains 29 days to end 2016. Fight against the things you don't want and to claim those unfulfilled prophecies that has been said concerning you.
.
Those who fight with the victory in Christ are on the winning side. David wasn't an experienced soldier but he won with the name of the Lord he lived in reverential fear.
.
To some, 2016 is gone already but to those who would claim their inheritance, there’s still time. Be violent spiritually against powers that has held you stagnant, because only the violent takes what belongs to them by force.
.
Fight to win, be slothful and be defeated.
.
Please pray with Ephesians 3:16 in relation to 1 Timothy 1:18.
