'ARE YOU SAVED'?

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" - Titus 3:5
.
Being saved or salvation is a misconstrued term in the body of Christ. Some believe that when they go to church, they're saved and some think that as they work in a church department, it implies salvation.
.
Being saved entails deliverance - from a path of destruction to the path of life. Doing religious activities doesn't make a man saved, it's God's mercy that saves.
.
A saved man has a past life of sin and being disobedient to God's will. Those who have been saved were formerly living a perishing life before His mercy found them and restored them.
.
Paul was saved from blaspheming, persecuting and being injurious to the early Christians (1 Tim. 1:13). He had a track record of living in destruction. But later, he lived his life in obedience to the will of God. What have you been saved from?
.
Do you have a former life? Is your present life far better than your former life? Have you been delivered from sin and the world?
.
Living a moral life or being disciplined doesn't make you saved but the mercy of God does. God's grace brought salvation to all men. Without salvation and a genuine evidence of it, eternal life is inaccessible.
.
Are you still living in sin - secret sin, stealing, malice, gossiping, envy, immoralities, worldliness and the likes? Reach out for His mercy for salvation.
.
Have you being saved? Work out your salvation by renewing your life daily in His word and be obedient to the Holy Spirit.
