Be a channel and not a container.

While transferring some stuff into another container yesterday, I made a funnel like object with a paper to ease the transfer. As I was doing it, the Spirit of God ministered to me. "Be a channel of God's blessing to the life of others around you".
.
A container holds the content of whatever is deposited into it but a funnel channels what is poured into it through other vessels.
.
A container can't enjoy fresh supplies unless it's emptied but a channel keeps enjoying fresh and new supplies.
.
What has God deposited in you? What talent do you have? Do you think you'd be short of supplies when you let it out? God's treasure doesn't experience deficit.
.
Do you remember the story of the woman with the oil and jar that Elisha told to go and borrow as much as she could? The more she poured the oil into the vessels, she didn't lack anything but when there are no vessels, the oil stayed.
.
The world will tell you not to let out much of what God has deposited in you but God is saying to you, "Empty yourself and I will fill you to an overflow".
.
I hope this would minister to a soul.
