'PEACE'.

"And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" - Phil. 4:7
.
There's a peace that comes from God and a peace that comes from the world. However, who you run to in life or whom you serve determines the peace you have.
.
Peace is a state of tranquility, quietness, harmony; absence of war or violence. It is a freedom from oppressive and unpleasant thoughts or emotions.
.
For believers in Christ, peace is not the absence of war because He said you will have tribulation in this world but you should be cheerful because He has overcome the world. More so, the presence of Christ in the boat of your life gives you peace (John 16:33, Luke 8:22-24).
.
Do you have the peace that comes from God? The first way to contact the peace of God is not to worry (take no thought on what to eat, drink or wear - Matt. 6:31) but seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matt. 6:33).
.
Next is to ensure that Jesus is in the boat of your life or relationship. You can't serve Jesus religiously and have access to Him. Cultivate a personal relationship with Him. The disciples knew Him that was why they could call on Him in the midst of the storm.
.
In Paul's voyage to Italy, they faced much tempest but Jesus was with Paul and He told him there shall be no loss (Acts 27). Unfortunately, Jonah and the mariners didn't have Jesus in their ship and they incurred much loss in the process of calming the storm (John 1).
.
The world offers peace but it comes with sorrow. Your boyfriend or girlfriend will promise you a peaceful relationship but would end up breaking your heart. Get serious with Jesus and He will grant you the peace that comes from God which is inexplicable and cannot be understood.
