'ENDURE AFFLICTIONS'

"For our light afflictions which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" - 2 Corinthians 4:17
.
Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulations but we should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
.
Affliction is a pain, suffering, trouble or adversity which one experience in life. It is part of life's experience, whether you believe in God or not but for a child of God, there’s an assurance of victory because it won't rise the second time (Nah. 1:9). However, God delivers the righteous out of them all (Ps. 34:19).
.
How can I endure affliction as Paul instructed Timothy (2 Tim. 4:5)? Note that affliction is momentary, it works an exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Cor.4:17). Momentary in the sense that it's temporal, when you understand this, you'll change your disposition towards it.
.
To endure affliction, do not look at the things that can be seen which you're going through, but look at the things that cannot be seen (solution) which is eternal.
.
You can forge through affliction through prayer. Hannah was afflicted with barrenness; she prayed, she made a vow and she continued praying (1 Sam. 1:10-12).
.
Is your affliction marital delay, unemployment, sickness, hardship, stagnation or whatever? Pray your way out of it and be patient. Don't look at the size of your problems but on the mightiest God you have.
.
David didn't see the gigantic stature of Goliath but he saw the greatness of the God of the armies of Israel. Who you see in the midst of your problems determines the outcome of your life - victory or defeat.
