'PREACH THE WORD'

"And He said to them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" - Mark 16:15
.
Jesus ordained twelve disciples that they should be with Him and that He might send them forth to preach (Mark 3:14).
.
It is only those who have been appointed that can preach. It is the responsibility of all disciple of Christ. Jesus came to invest in His disciples, although He died for the world, He didn't commit Himself to the multitude. He only gave the multitude what they wanted - miracle, healing, blessing and not eternal life.
.
A man can only preach unless he's a disciple. A disciple can preach because he has been sent and the gospel can be heard when there's a preacher (Rom. 10:15). However, it's those who have been with Him that He can send to preach.
.
Have you been with Him? To be with Christ is to have a personal relationship with Him, not a church goer, member or religious people. Those who are with Him are not tied to a denomination or a particular church but they're bonded with Him in an intimate relationship.
.
Do not be carried away by the large gathering of church members or church goers you see, those who are disciples are very few.
.
Make people Jesus' disciples (Matt. 28:19) and not a proselyte (church member). The problem with the 21st century Christian is that many are not disciples of Christ. You can't be His disciple and not do what He did when He was in the flesh - preaching the kingdom of God.
.
If you don't preach the word, evil will continue to thrive in the world. God can save all men but He won't do so if disciples fail to preach the gospel.
.
Remember, Jesus is coming back for His disciples and not the multitude. Are you preaching the gospel or you're ashamed of it?
