'SOJOURN IN FEAR'

"And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear" - 1 Peter 1:17
.
No one stays on earth forever. There's a day you came into this world and there's an inevitable day which you must leave - by death or rapture.
.
Many are living as though they would stay here forever without transiting to the world beyond. If you know that you're a temporary resident here on earth, live with reverence.
.
Who should I reverence? God. Some had reverence their lives to religion or an unworthy cause, however, the end would justify the means.
.
Joseph passed the time of his sojourning in fear, this was why he fled from the evil that was thrown at his face. Jesus lived His temporal stay on earth in total reverence to God.
.
How can I pass the time of my sojourning here in fear?
.
Live your life to acknowledge your Creator (Eccl. 12:1). You can achieve this by accepting His offer for salvation (John 3:16) and let it transform you inside out.
.
Retain Him in your knowledge (Rom. 1:28). If you do not consider God in everything you do in life, you will never spend your eternity with Him.
.
Hate the world. You can't love the world and equally love God (1 John 2:15-17). The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life are not of the Father.
.
Lastly, be conscious of where you would spend your eternity. If you don't live with eternity in view, you'll recklessly live your life on earth and mar your eternity.
