'FOLLOW HIS STEPS'

"For even hereto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps" - 1 Peter 2:12
.
You can't follow a man whose steps you do not know.
.
There are several steps which Christ took when He was on earth and many of them can be read in the Gospels. In all ways, He was tempted like every human but He did not sin.
.
If you do not know how Christ lived, it will be difficult for you to live like Him. It is very important that you learn about Him so that you can live like Him.
.
Christ suffered for doing good. He did not sin, neither was any deceit found in His mouth. He did not retaliate when He was reviled. When He suffered, He did not threatened those who made Him suffer nor did like Elijah who called down fire (1 Pet. 2:22-23).
.
Let this philosophy stamp in your heart: what would Christ do if He were to be in my shoes? You might be taken for a fool but He committed Himself to Him that judges righteously.
.
It is difficult to follow His steps for the carnal and natural man but it's possible for the spiritual man that has been broken or crucified.
.
When you follow His steps, although you will be tempted, but you will not fall into sin. When you follow His steps, you will live your life the way He lived, hence, you will be called 'little Christ'.
.
Is Jesus your master? Only Jesus' disciples can follow His steps.
