Wait For Your Bus.

I was heading to site one fateful day and it was quite far away from the island. I got to the bus stop and several buses that was passing were going to a different route (Iyana oworo-Ikeja).
.
About four commercial vehicles drove past and were heading at the same destination. Myself and a young man within my age bracket got to the bus stop at the same time and we were waiting for a bus going to Oshodi.
.
Few minutes later, a red BRT bus veered into our position and the driver was calling Oshodi, I was happy and made effort to enter the bus only for the driver to tell me not to enter because he wasn't going to my direction. I was disappointed and I had to go back to where I was in the heat of the early morning sun, when the sun no longer gives vitamin E.
.
Standing there alone without anyone because the young man had entered into the bus, another bus came and it was still heading to a route where I wasn't going; but a little while later, a bus drove in and was heading to my direction, it was cheap and comfortable.
.
Immediately I entered, I forgot the minutes spent waiting for the right bus under the scorching sun and I moved on with my business for the day.
.
Lesson...
.
There are several destinations in life and it's not everyone that will walk in the direction that you're destined to go. You will come across several course mates, friends, associates that seemed like you're going the same way but not everyone of them will be heading the same path with you in the journey of purpose.
.
Have this in mind, not all the men and women who came into your life will be suitable to journey with you in the path of destiny. Some might look like what you want but they don't have the capacity to meet your need in the course of the journey.
.
Maritally, seasons would come when people will be getting married, there you are, single and not engaged. Some might even be your age mates, people you're older or younger than who are getting married and it would seem as if God has forgotten you, no, He hasn't. He's only preparing you for the journey ahead and also preparing the person that would suitably fit His purpose for your life.
.
On the contrary, ascertain that your waiting isn't caused by the enemy (spiritual) or a self-induced problem. Wait for your own bus (season), it will surely come. Don't enter the wrong bus He hasn't prepared for you. Entering the wrong bus with the wrong person will make your marital journey an endurance trek.
.
Exercise more patience and while you're waiting, become the best person you can ever be. Discover His purpose for your life and chart the course for its fulfillment.
.
And before you jump out of God's plan for your life, remember this: the race is not to the swift, the battle is not to the strong, the abundance of bread is not to the wise, riches is not to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill but time and chance happens to them all.
.
Wait for your bus (season), though it delays, it'll surely come to pass. Other people's time might have come to pass, yours will definitely come if you do not give up before it comes.
