My Awolowo Way to TBS Journey.

Today was another day that the Lord has made. He taught me a lesson I will always appreciate and I will like to share it with you.
.
I was en route to Awolowo way from Lagos Island and I did not have sufficient fare with me, not because I am not credit worthy, I forgot to take some extra cash along with me.
.
I went to with the little cash with me and while coming back, I planned that I will take a bus and trek the remaining miles to my destination.
.
At the bus stop on my way back, I saw lots of passengers at the bus stop due to traffic which held lots of commuters behind because of the heavy downpour in Lagos.
.
Shortly after, the keke to my destination came to the park and called the fare for which half of it was what I have on me as cash. I hopped in and immediately, fear came and I begged the man sitting beside me if he could part away with the balance I needed to complete my fare.
.
He refused and told me he wasn't going to the last bus stop. Immediately, someone in me, the Holy Spirit convicted me for putting my trust in man and I asked God for forgiveness.
.
Should I ask the man seated at my left? Another thought came but I said no and brought out my phone to do what I love. We continued with the journey and the driver boycott the traffic by passing a shortcut.
.
How will I pay my fare? Won't I be embarrassed by this driver and his colleague who squatted beside him? Anyways if it happens, I will beg him, that was my resolve.
.
We continued with the journey and shortly after, I noticed a man I knew who was driving a vehicle. As the driver manoeuvered through the pedestrian walkway to make his way through, I waved this man I know, not sure if he saw me and quickly I paid the driver.
.
His colleague was angry. "Why can't you tell us at the bus stop that you don't have the complete fare?", he was raging. "I'm sorry, I have seen someone I know", while opening my wallet to show him how sincere I was. I gave him the money and got out of the vehicle.
.
Inside the vehicle, I expressed my gratitude to him. Inside the oye tight vehicle, we exchanged pleasantries and he took me straight to my destination, in fact, to the place I was heading to.
.
In what way have we put our trust in men or in ourselves? In which areas of your life have you leaned on to your own understanding while thinking it'll be difficult to put your trust in God?
.
All you need to trust in God are these: obedience, assurance that He will help you and discard your fears and anxiety. Who provided the ram that was caught up in the thicket when Abraham wanted to offer Isaac as a sacrifice? How did it get there as at the very time he lifted up his knife to kill Isaac?
.
Ours is not to think of how He's going to provide or where and who He's going to use. Only believe and you will see the glory of God.
