How to Get One of the Things Money Cannot Buy.

I was at the cash dispensing machine yesterday, also known as the ATM. Several people queued up at the other machines while I had to wait to take my turn at the other machine where someone, a middle-aged woman had engaged.
.
Like the tradition of queuing up for cash behind ATM machines, I stood few meters away from the machine as I leaned back on a column supporting the building.
.
A man walked in and I gently told him I am the next person on the queue. With a gentle tone, he told me he felt I was one of the bank attendant. I smiled as we both conversed.
.
Sizing him up, I felt he wasn't old enough to be my father as I looked at him while he sat on a disjointed chair the bank security guys used. Immediately as I was musing about the man, the Holy Spirit told me to allow him use the machine after the next person.
.
"Why would I?" Just like the battle between Michael Hollyfield and Michael Tyson, my spirit was waging war with my flesh. After all, he came to get some cash and I also came for the same purpose. It's my right na, I said confidently.
.
After I have agreed to what the Spirit said, like the beautiful man who fastened his eyes on Peter and John, I felt I could receive something from him when he's done with his transaction on the machine so that he'd compensate me for offering my turn to him. May God save us from entitlement mentality.
.
I manned the machine, punctured my secret code on the faded keys to initiate my transaction. While using the machine, I felt a hand tapping my left shoulder. The man leaned backward and muttered a word of prayer into my ears.
.
His prayer went straight from my outer, to the middle and down into my inner ears. Throughout yesterday, I was meditating on the prayer he prayed for me.
.
Morals...
.
1. Always walk in the Spirit and don't lean on the desire of the flesh.
.
2. Learn to give up on your right so that you can have greater things that your right cannot fetch you.
.
3. Do away with entitlement mentality as it is common to youths in this generation.
.
4. There are many things money, your education, wisdom or anointing cannot buy; one of such is a heartfelt prayer said by older persons or those who have gone ahead of you.
.
5. Learn to honor people, whether young or old. You never can tell what their response will do to your life and destiny.
.
6. Honor is not about sowing seeds, it can be an act of service or giving up your rights and privileges for others.
.
I hope you were blessed from this write up. Kindly share!
